So, my girl is buying me a EVGA GTX1060 GPU for christmas this year.
3GB - Dual Fan.

I'm wanting to upgrade my MOBO/CPU so the GPU isn't bottlenecked, but i'm not looking to "break the bank".

My current PSU is a 600W EVGA 80+ Bronze Cert. Edition. So I don't think I'll have any issues there.

Wondering if anybody could suggest a compatible MOBO/CPU combo package I could buy.

I would like to keep it around 300$ if at all possible, if not between 350-400$.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions and/or help!

We need to know what you have ...now.

Get SPECCY here: http://www.piriform.com/speccy/download
...get the FREE version from the: Piriform Link
...Speccy is a really nice system hardware/temperature, information Utility.
...simply install it...and run the program...then post a screen shot of the main page of the program, when posting a problem/question on these forums.

I would love to.
Just a bit out of my price-range unfortunately.

Also i've currently got a water-cooler.
It should mount up right?
Watercoolers aren't CPU/MOBO specific are they?

Maan all RAM went up in price the past few weeks..
All my favorite brand 2800/3000Mhz was like 74.99.
So thats like 25-30% price increase on such a short periode. I gotta do some research on that.

I believe 16GB RAM is a must with this budget. I use towards 12GB RAM in a few games. Like GTA V, Rust and Minecraft modded.

You don't need a Z170 for a non-K processor. You don't need to spend $70+ for 8GB of 3000MHz RAM. That's idiotic.

Here: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/Q33LmG

i5-6500, B150 mobo, 2x8GB 2133MHz RAM. Less than $400.
