My goal to building my computer is to run a decent 60-100 fps on average and have slim to none lag spikes and fps drops minimal. My price range can vary anywhere between 400 ( or 0.. ) to around a thousand. i have some pre-built computers i'm looking at and some computers i put together on pcpartpicker.com.

Im asking you guys to just look over the computers and tell me really anything to know about them or how they'll perform as me and my friends don't know very much about building computer.

The games i'm going to try to run are games like Diablo 3, WOW, CS, Battlefield, Infestation, Dota 2, Smite, etc. i don't really expect to run on ultra HD graphics but i do want decent graphics ( above average )

Im going to be using a 32 inch flat screen tv as a monitor so i dont think that a monitor and a tv would be any different but if there is i would like to know about the differences in those as well.

Again i dont need to buy a keyboard or mouse or screen ( unless a tv isnt worth it ) i just need the actual tower itself, i cant stand running games ( the games i could run ) with a solid 7-14 fps on very low graphics any more.

Monitor is definitely better than a TV screen. Imagine a 1920 x 1080 32" TV and a 1920 x 1080 24" monitor. They both have the same resolution, the same amount of pixels. Can you see how the monitor will have a better picture...sharper?


Anyways...I don't know if you have reusable parts from your current computer, but I finished of your build for you...

Monitor always. TV's have massive amounts of latency to transfer signal.

is he gaming on 4k? multi monitor perhaps? nah, at best he's going to game on a 1080p monitor. games won't be needing more vRam for a while, especially at 1080p.

4k monitors going to be pretty cheap during black friday this year.... I would spend the extra $30 on 6gb.
