As long as the motherboard, SSD, RAM, HDD, and power supply are from good companies.

But a Xeon processor?
I don't see any way to reproduce this build using quality parts for $1100..

Agreed, but the CPUs never break, it's all the other parts that do.

I don't understand why an average user would run a xeon processor though, that just doesn't make sense to me lol.
I've been out of the loop with current tech, so maybe I'm missing something? All I know is that with my now limited knowledge on parts, I cannot reproduce a similar build to what the local shop suggested, within the price range, even going with all generic cheap parts.. There has to be a better option that'll suit his needs better, while still using quality parts, no?

He won't be overclocking, I think he'd be fine with an i7. I just gotta figure out something that will meet his exact budget, or less, he literally has exactly 1100 to spend.
