My setup is for a quiet gaming rig,

your post
cons:
the case you posted has full door and is weird
my m2 > your ssd

pros:
may swap out my arctic ice for the hyper 212
may swap out the mem for the one you posted

Well get the m2 ofc, but the case I picked has dust filters and is a great case...they also have them with...erm...windows.

/e If you're getting an m2...get the 950 EVO. ^^

vouch, is a great case. The case i picked also has filters and has noise dampening, need the rig to be quiet or at least quieter.

thank you for the mem swap out

/e - the sammy 950 evo m2 puts me over budget :(

Whats wrong with a full door?

New graphics cards should be coming out in a month or two here, If you can wait. Amd is supposed to put out a card comparable to the 980 ti for $299, Nvidia pascal is rumored to be released June, With non-Reference cards from day one.
Also; easiest way to get a silent PC, Is to get a Fan Controller.

hmm, can always swap the card out later with amazon's policy. the case I picked has fan controllers as well.

@door - just a personal preference. the case I picked can act as a full door as well as a half half

would not recommend the gtx 970 anymore. It is kinda old and struggles with newer titles at high resolutions due to the lack of VRAM. The 390 is the better pick.
Also if you want a quite pc get a larger cooler. Maybe the Macho Rev.B. (be carefull as it does not fit every case)
If you have not build a lot of computer before then you should stay far away from Arctic Silver 5 and any other conductive thermal compound. Simply use the one that is included in the cooler.

Your wrong about that one. The 2.5inch 850evo performs better then the m.2 version. Even tho not by much.

In a gaming rig, you won't notice the difference between any kind of SSD anyway...
