So I built this last year and I feel Iike it isn't smooth.

I bought it for Diablo 3 mainly at the time.

M5A97 AMD mobo
AMD 8320
H100i
Blue WD HD
Corsair vengeance 8gb ram
600b watt evga

I feel like diablo 3 should run smooth, but I always get clutter mob lag.

Is there anything noticeable I should upgrade or focus on?

Have up to 1000 to upgrade any certain piece

gpu mainly if your complaining about lag in games.
Next get an ssd 120-500gb shoudl suffice it wont help much with online games but it does reduce load times when your not required to wait on others.
after that move to intel cpu and mobo.

tbh I don't feel like you should be lagging on d2 with one window... are you multi boxing or w/e they call it?
whats your temps like mid game?

Yeah, I wanted to get Intel at the time, but income was extremely low and college was the main priority.

I wanted to get a ssd for loading times and maybe more ram... But everyone says 8gb is fine unless I'm running a ton on my computer

8gb will suffice for sure.
the ssd will help with responsiveness of the OS but does not help much in games like I stated,
your cpu is fine imo can wait till end f year get next gen intel and right now focus on gpu
either wait for pascal or buy a 980 ti

Get a 212 evo fan, and OC Ur cpu

blizz games benefit from intel by far

770 is well more than enough for d3

I wish I knew how without blowing it up

I played on someones computer which was a basic best buy comp and diablo played and looked so smooth.

Every time I look at the game, I get this iffy it's not quite there.

It won't blow up, it'll easily reach 4.0 safely. Though I'd try for 4.5

well that's the thing, I don't even know how to oc.

I don't even know if my bios settings are set correctly
