How many fans does your computer case have?
My current one has 4 and maybe 1 on the bottom for the psu, not sure. But they're all stock

I'm looking at cases now and it seems most just have 2, sometimes 3.

Should I be looking to get more fans?

this is the build i'm currently looking at, will maybe do some modifications. But for the most part, it's generally what it's going to look like.

I'm unsure on case/gfx card mostly..My gfx card i use now is a gtx 680 an runs any game I want, so should I really want to get the best gfx card out there and is the one I on my list overkill?

Thanks a lot in advance for any comments.

If you're going with that build, you can always get the Fractal Design Define R4. Yes, in either case you will need more fans.

As for grfx card, the CPU has built in grfx .....AMD 7800 series I believe. But you can add say an AMD R9 380 if you want...or even a slower card like the 270.

/e keep in mind, that's just a budget build...like for mom & pop or grandparents. It looks like one of my builds. :)

You can edit the parts list to choose the vendor. In your case Amazon. You do that by clicking on the little asterisk right before the BUY button, for each item.

/e If after choosing the vendor, the price becomes n/a, then that means Amazon (or w/e vendor you chose) doesn't have it.

/ee One of the reasons I pick the Farctal Design Define R4 or R5 is that they come with dust filters on all the intakes. :)

How many Case fans you need always depends on your case. Most regular mid tower need 2 fans, one intake and one exhaust, to have a good air flow. more fans imporve air flow, but the difference compared to a 2 fan setup is marginal.
Cube cases sometimes require even less. I currently use a Core V21 with only one intake fan and my temperatures are great. But usually a basic 2 fan mid tower is good enough.

With fans it is not about the price. They are dirt cheap. It is more about the noise they make.
Alse if your case supports larger fans you should buy at least 140mm. The larger the fan the quieter it is.

yes he's right you could get cheap fans but if the dB is so high it will sound like an airplane.

I was looking at these, but they're 120mm with 22db. They have really good reviews about noise lvl hehe
