First of all, the 980 ti only hits around 80fps in most games at 1440p. so you wont be getting all 144fps to match your monitors resolution.

Seconds, why do you buy 2 SSD's? A single SSD would be better. Otherwise it is just a waste of your ram to run both in turbo mode.

Also the operating system can be bougth cheaper. Check what websites sell cheap Windows 10 OEM's in your country. Should not cost you more then 30 or 40 dollar.

Otherwise a solid build.

then dont listen to these people, since they dont know what they are talking about. There is no reason to separete boot disk from your game disk.

also took me quite sometime before making my mind up on 5820k vs 6700k ultimatly im not gona use 6 cores anytime soon and i am not a huge video editing guy

the sinlge core power of 6700 new technoly and perfect fit with z170 mobo just made me lean toward that combo instead 5820k x99 combo

The i7 is an awesome processor. Nothing to regret there.

Well. Games like Fallout 4 benefit from higher core count, but dont require it. Most games use up to 4 cores. The other cores take off background load like streaming or teamspeak.

no. You got already 8 cores. 4 physical and 4 hypertheaded cores. Thats generally enough to handly have multitasking.
