I found a Alienware M14X for 400$ is that a good buy?

No, used laptops will crap out on you faster then anything else.
Plus the system is pretty old, you can purchase a brand new desktop for $400 that will outperform that system.

I need dual monitors for work and have 400$ so i was looking for the best laptop for 400 because i have a screen already.

What kind of work do you do and what kind of monitor do you have?

Which revision is that alienware?

It's the following:
14" Glossy LCD with LED Backlight
1600x900 resolution
Intel Core i7 Quad Core 2.3Ghz
750GB HDD (slow as hell, 5yrs old)
4x2GB ram so 8GB 1600Mhz DDR3
GeForce GT 650M graphics (piece of shit gfx card)
Default OS: Windows 7 Home Premium

First it's a 5yrs old laptop so it will completely die very soon.
Second it's a piece of shit wouldn't give it $250 if it was in good condition.
