what would you go

980 ti g1 or 980 ti hawk?

budget is not an factor here.

i heard g1 is the best possible card for 980 ti, but it has alot of coil whines

also the hawk is hybrid coming with water cooling wich is pretty epic for OC

well because i haven't seen them for quite some time.

But nevertheless you will not get much more of an overclock with the watercooled card. But if money is not an issue, there is no limit to what you can spend to make marginal gains.

i dont own one. I only saw a couple of them in the shop, but never heared one. But sure, watercooled cards are a lot quiter and cooler. Problem is would you notice a difference. If you watercool your CPU, have super quite fans and a super-super quite powersupply then maybe. Otherwise the regular Air cooled cards are not making much more noise then your case fans and PSU.
And you wont benefit a lot from the lower temps. Maybe you can overclock it slightly more but not enough to make a noticable difference.

very good point, thank you, my case and cpu running very low noise, only my correct video card is making noise. but i dont really care of fan noise it doesnt bother me.

im only afraid of the g1 coil whine, wich really annoy. i never had anything good related to gigagybte T_T

iv seen few bechmarks, and it seem to be at top 980 ti's, right under the asus one

and i like my system running very cool, dont like temps above 50, +its very hot at my room, so cooling is a must.

The main reason you should get the Hawk. Easy to return if not up to snuff.
Probably cheaper too. Employee discount?
