What it MUST have:

500GB SSD 450/450+ Read Write
nVidia Geforce 970.

If you can fit me in for a budget of 700$ I'll give you 15fg.

You don't need an SSD with 450 write and read. That'll cut into your budget for the rest of the pc.

Just the videocard alone + a 500gb ssd will run you about 450$.
You cant get a decent pc with the 2 parts you posted for 700.

Also you should clarify what your going to use the pc for. Video editing? Streaming? Gaming? Monitor Resolution? Target Frame Rate (60fps, 120fps, 144fps)?
ALso your current pc should be listed as you can most likely reuse some parts.

Otherwise i can only suggest you my standart 700$ gaming pc. -> https://pcpartpicker.com/user/maulepan/saved/#view=vRLG3C

It's for gaming.

I have CD rom etc.

You can do it. 970 is 320$ Samsung evo 850 500gb is 150$. Would it be THAT terrible to run an i3 CPU?

320$ for the grafics card
150$ for the ssd.
70$ for a PSU
50$ for a case
80$ for a main board.
40$ for ram

leaves you with -10$ for a CPU. And it is kinda hard to get a i3 with a -10$ budget. Also dual core prozessors are not that good for gaming. Some games like far cry4 dont even support dual core CPU's anymore. quad core is simply standart for gaming.

If you want a stronger grafics card then look for some used computers with good, but older and used grafics cards.

This was my initial build. Anyone think this is a good value or should I change it up?

I want to replace the 960 with a 970. But is my CPU choice and mobo choice good?

nothing wrong with it, but if you buy new anyway i would go for the skylake platform as the price is almost the same.

Are you referring to the 900$ computer build on your site there? I don't really like AMD. Is the 390 really that good? It's got 256 bit memory correct?

Why the hell do you 'need' a 500gb SSD?
