looking for some opinions on this build, compatibility of parts etc.. Also if anyone can suggest any parts that have a better price/performance ratio let me know (but must be from amazon).
Looking to keep the build under $400. Already have OS, HDD, peripherals.

Solid build if your looking for a office / calculation PC. Since you did not specify your usage i just assume your building a office pc, since for a gaming pc your missing a grafics card.

Will do all task like exel, photoshop and web browsing.
But you have a DDR4 main board, so you should use DDR4 Ram.
Also a 600W power supply is a little to much. 300W would be enough.
Also you might consider if a G4400 or i3 6100 might be enough, since office task wont need much cpu power. Then a SSD would be within your budget.

i play games but nothing intensive i.e dota2 , sc2, hearthstone etc so im hoping the onboard gpu from the skylake chip will suffice for now as i heard its pretty good. I will look into the ddr4 ram.

@Penguins yes I do have prime which would save me about $70 in shipping cost vs newegg

He'll be fine with his non-intensive games even on FHD.

It's fine. You can add a GPU afterwards so stick with the PSU you have. You can swap to DDR4 if you want but it's not necessary. Again it's upgrades you can do later.
