You will pay $1500 for a pc that will shit on itself within 3 years because of sub-par parts and terrible PSUs.

Shoot me a link to what you're thinking of getting, or post it here and we'll come up with a system that's infinitely better.

You don't need to spend that kind of $$ to game at 1080p either

Here is a stupid overpowered rig @2k that blows whatever trashpower has at that price point out of the water :P

The components in ibuypower and cyberpc are crap actually. They're also overpriced quite a bit.
Building your own is cheaper.

Premades typically put decent CPU and GPU but cheap out on everything else. The power supply in a prebuilt is guaranteed to be shit. Typically for what you pay $1500 for a prebuilt, you can build yourself for about $1200-1300 and have better quality parts.

I made that mistake before; the problem is they don't send you the stuff that usually comes with the items. Like, whatever power supply you get, they don't send you the extra cables that come with it. Neither the graphics card or mobo came with an sli bridge. 100% not worth it, overpriced, and I'm glad I researched and bought my own components the second time around. Me, the cable management was complete dog shit. Made a huge mistake. Then I found this sub forum and learned a ton.

I just had a guy buy one of my prebuilt pcs for 425 (paid an extra 60 for 12 more gb of ram, making it 485 total) dollars and tell me how happy he was with it. before buying mine, he said he bought the asus ROG tower from bestbuy for 850 and thought it was shit by comparison. he returned it to buy my pc.
So, i like to think that story embodies how we feel here at the computer building forum ^_^
