I have a hp pc but I have some issues with it. My hard drive often freeze, got BIOS issues with mobo, psu is okay bue i have ram issues. Gfx card still work fine. It is also hard to get a mobo who fit with the cpu

here is the specs:

- 460watts psu
- Pegatron IPMTB-TK (truckee) mobo (not working well)
- i7-920 cpu
- 9 Gb ram (3x1 + 3x2) (not working well)
- 1 Gb hdd (dead)
--> GPU working fine for the game I play (will keep it)

Should I try to find a replacement mobo for the i7-920 cpu or change everything except GPU? Only need the tower with basic build to play Blizzard games and surfing the web of course.

If you can afford it, Just build a new one.

No point in putting money into a dying PC.

Budget:
More specific use (what games, what programs):
Planned time until purchase:
Do you need an Operating System?:
Do you have any specific preferred components?:
Do you need a sound or wireless card?:
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?:
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?:
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs):

There is canda alternatives to buy from.

Newegg is fine
Ncix is good
