So my macbook is dying, I love it, and it was great to me for about 6 years but the battery is now 100% dead and would cost almost 200$ to fix. with everything else about it beginning to fade im going to invest in a new one.

While historically I have used mac, getting a new one seems more over priced for he power than ever before. so im exploring windows options.
You guys built my PC, which im very happy with, so i thought I'd get opinions (I still owe rapture some photos of it.)

Budget: 800-1000
Purpose: Light gaming, (like runescape, hearthstone) Internet browsing, Word processing (main purpose), Streaming movies to the TV and the like.
No touch screen or anything.
At least 13 display

Recommendations?

Will do everything you require and much more http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834315131&leaderboard=1

For the sake of utilizing your whole budget http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152903

E: Do you require something with decent battery life? Will throw down more options if so.

You don't require one, but if you're spending that much, I would get one, because its better than not having one and you can find considerably nice laptop cards at that range
Any processor when spending that much money is going to be adequate, at the very least, so I can't say, "look for x"
I would say go grab 3-5 laptops you like and post them here, so we can sort of compare and give our opinions, that would be the best ^_^
