Budget: ~1,000.00 USD.
More specific use (what games, what programs): Right now I don't play anything that's hard on the rig. At most WoW / CS:GO. (which my PC already handles). I just want something for the next few years that'll last if possible.
Planned time until purchase: Whenever a good deal arrives.
Do you need an Operating System?: No
Do you have any specific preferred components?: Nope
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: No
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: No OC'ing. Too lazy.
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: Nah, I'll buy them later. I have old crap.
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): 60187

At the moment I have the following setup:

RAM: G.SKILL Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-1600C9D-8GAB
Power supply: CORSAIR CX series CX600M 600W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC CP-9020060-NA Power Supply
GPU: SAPPHIRE DUAL-X Radeon R9 280 100373L 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Video Card (I can't remember if this is it or not but I am pretty sure it is)
CPU: AMD FX-8320 Vishera 8-Core 3.5GHz (4.0GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W FD8320FRHKBOX Desktop Processor
MOBO: MSI 970A-G46 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB950 6 x SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS (also not sure if this is it, but it looks a lot like the one I have)
Storage: SAMSUNG 850 EVO MZ-75E250B/AM 2.5" 250GB SATA III 3-D Vertical Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

I can't check to make sure what they are 100% because I am at work. :( But the above is pretty much my rig.

I also have a question about swapping parts. If I swap out the mobo will I have any problems if I just use my SSD with all the files still on it? Or would I have to do a complete re-installation?

Any help will be much appreciated!

I just swapped out my MOBO and doing a fresh install was a lot easier for me than trying to remove all of the old drivers.

Your rig's pretty powerful though, I'd just stick with it for now until you want to play something that you can't. My PC is a lot less powerful than your's and I'm still fine playing even The Witcher 3

So nothing would really need to be replaced?

I want to be ready for the new WoW expansion if the computer doesn't handle it well I'll be upset. :(

E: Would a liquid cooler or a better CPU cooler keep my computer cool? It gets hot as fuck in my room with my PC running and the door shut. Or is that inevitable with the door being shut?

I think you'll be fine for sure, and usually aftermarket coolers are only needed when you are overclocking. At stock speeds you shouldn't be having any issues but if you're worried about your temperatures you can use software such as CPUID's Hardware Monitor to check how high your temps get while gaming.

Spend $25 & pick up a Hyper 212.

Not really. The stock fans for CPU's are generally BARELY enough to keep it cool & are loud as fuck when doing anything cpu intensive.

Aftermarket cooling will keep it quieter & cooler.

unless wow has changed a lot it doesn't take much to run.. i have a pentium4 laptop that plays it fine. little laggy in raids, but for being like a $250 laptop it just shows how low the requirements are for wow.

I'm really just concerned about how hot it makes the room. The CPU runs on the mid-high range of heat but that's fine. I just want the computer to blow out less heat.. lol Is there any way around that?

I have like 7 fans inside the beast.

It's always going to produce heat.

Yeah I thought as much. I was just hoping some really nice liquid cooler would make the heat source minimal. XD
