Money is not a huge issue so the 8350 is a better option, my IT guy would not want me OCing otherwise I would get the 8320 like my personal build has. I chose the PSU because I am used to building with it could you link me to the EVGA you are talking about? And the microsoft software is how he wants it purchased. And he wants the latest and greatest AMD GPU.
Best way to look for parts IMO of 6 years of building. Will probably do NCIX w/ pricematch when parts are selected
Ah well if you already have those specific loopholes then no big deal :]
At this rate I want to consider you rather educated so you may already know what I'll say next, but ill say it anyway.
The latest and greatest is the fury/x. Granted I dont know again how it compares for 3d modeling, but it is at least in the gaming space considered the premiium AMD offering

this is the evga i would consider as it is cost effective
http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-110b20750vrthere is a more premium version, the G2 which comes fully modular and gold rated, but both are made by super flower though.
Its just about the same price as corsair but much higher quality than that model and higher warranty. if this is some kind of business build that doesnt belong to you, may not care, but its something to consider i suppose.
