Need a new computer. Kind of leaning toward i5/970. But nothing is set in stone. I have read some recent posts/checked newegg. Just wanting to see what's new. And yes I realize skylake is coming (tomorrow?).

Thanks. Ordering today.

Rams cheap enough, I understand. Will 16 gb be an improvement over 8 for gaming? My understanding is no. Just curious.

Ram is out of stock. Any other preferred ram you could advise? Or I'll just order from newegg. Whichever comes first.

Where would I see improvements vrs 16? It IS cheap. Multitasking? Not something I do much while gaming.

Edit. Np man :)

The Xeon is a cheaper i7 without the overclocking capability.

Oh I see.

Thoughts Rapture?

You lowered the PS down to 520w. Ppc says 329 w total. Wouldn't be a problem eh? Wouldnt assume so.

And then basically just cheaper case/less ram.

Tis cheaper w "seemingly" better performance?
