I have a lower budget now, you think I could lower this build to like 500?
I have a small monitor so I guess I don't need a very expensive graphics card

Res? And what games specifically? With a budget that low you'll probably struggle on some newer games.

1600x900? Its my current computers res.. I need another computer to play games with my brother.

Basically it would be counter-strike global offensive, and Elder scrolls online

Do you still want the $500 budget PC for streaming?

If you're not streaming and only gaming you can make a decent budget set up with G3258 OC'd to 4.0 on air and that won't even break a bill.

If you're set on streaming with a $500 PC... idk if it's even possible for a clean stream, but you'd definitely need more cores which is going to come out of your GPU budget.

I don't think hyperthreading is enough for lag free streaming. 4+ physical cores is needed iirc.

good luck streaming @ 500$ with a half decent gpu

he can stream with shadowplay, so he's got that going for him.

I just want to make sure he knows that before spending money.

But it is LoL, so it could be possible to set up a LoL streamer for $500 since it's light on the GPU. However, he'd be killing himself on playing any modern game.
