Hey I have 2x Qnix 2710's. Both of them hook up using DVI-D but I only have 1 DVI-D port on my videocard (gtx 970 twin frozr).

Solutions?

not a big fan of adapters myself but it saves you a ton of cash if you don't want a second gfx card

as far as adapters go, will I lose any information? will i still be able to run the monitor @ 100+ Hz and 2560x1440?

Use the display port or HDMI on the graphics cards. msi 970 twin fizor has 2 dvi ports, 1 hdmi, and 1 display port.

Dvi-i & dvi-d

Qnix requires dual link d.

And it really doesnt like adapters at all.

You're pretty much stuck getting a second card, or a better single card that has multiple dual link dvi-d


you wont be able to push 2x qnix with a single 970 anyways.

thats not correct


there is no diff betwen dvi and dvi d in quality matters.

you can use an adapter
and you wont lose any quality, i promise you.

hmm

i stand corrected, You can plug a dvi-d dual link cable into a dvi-i dual link output & it works just fine, Dont even need an adapter.

if you google it the OCN qnix owners club has a post saying ti works just fine.
