anyone here ever had success with a phase change case?

current build
rosewill rise glow
asus sabertooth motherboard ( just swapped out from a m5a97 )
amd-8350 black edition
gskill ripjaw ram 32gb
750 ti video ( waiting on 2x 760's )
2x samsung 840 evo SSD in raid 0 for 1 tb
corsair 750 watt modular power supply
corsair h100i liquid cooled
holding 5.2 ghz atm

gonna need some heavy duty cooling for the mobo itself for 7ghz on the 8350

and 750's don't sli.....

why not just get a 4790k and oc to 5ghz with the same cooler
and to be completely honest, you're better off getting a xeon processor for video editing + dual 970s for the same $$ you'd be spending on that case alone

the phase control keeps the cpu @ -30c at all times .. there is literally no heat .. just have to insulate to reduce moisture from the extreme cold it produces

and once my friend upgrades to his titan he is donating me his 760's he has in sli im stuck with one 750ti for now which is really all i need atm


this isnt a build for gaming .. this isnt a build for video editing .. this build is a single purpose build.

really radonkulus benchmarking and overclocking .

@-30c ill hold 7.0 safely all day .. no problem without damaging my cpu or motherboard.

-30c is still 'heat' btw (technically)
i didn't suggest dual 970s for gaming, you can use the cuda cores for editing..
and an fx-8350 at 7ghz won't rival a xeon processor.

8350 on phasechange + dual 760s wont beat an h100i cooled xeon & dual 970s
especially since the phasechange build will be loud as shit.....

you're just making a big mistake
4790k @ 5ghz & dual 970s >>>>>> by a landslide

some people have drug habits .. im addicted to computers .. its a hell of a drug.

I'd actually have some ideas of what to do with my life if I could afford decent internet...
honestly want to start working on a game, no inspiration though.

its prolly gonna be a few months before i can attempt one .. but its my next goal to crack 7.0ghz

i just stuck almost 2000$ into my 4 wheeler this weekend so the bank account is in a bit of pain at the moment lol
