i live life on the edge lmao
i use to use wrist strap, then i started saying fuck it

the last like four or five builds have been without it, and i always work on carpet. i just make sure not to drag my feet or move around to much. but you should NOT follow my example, i'm sure i'll short something one day :rofl:

carpets create static thats a great idea bra.

id always recommand using static bracelets ive shorted out parts before and heard horror stories.

which part specifically is most likely to be affected by static? is it just the motherboard and cpu or everything?
