i already have a storage drive and video card.

i have 550ish to work with. I prefer amd. The idea i had was upgradable but functional for now.

What kind of graphics card and storage drive do you have? What are you going to do with your new system? Do you already have a monitor? If yes, what's your resolution?

im not looking to oc later i want performance out of the box. the 8350/6350 is better value for the $ for me.

280x/pny240gb ssd/1tb seagate/ gaming&movies/yes i have a 40in 1080p tv i use for a monitor and my other 2 monitors are setup on another machine.

Then don't OC?
though, it literally takes you few seconds to change a number from 32 to 40 in bios for that minor OC.
Spending $7 more for an upgrade to 8320 from 6350 is still better value for the $$

agree on ssd - buy a hdd for like 40-50 on amazon and grab a 240gb/256gb Samsung SSD when the next big price drop/sale happens.
