Just built my system few days ago and I just noticed that some of the copper cones that stuck up on some of the pc parts ( heatsink, gfx card, etc) appear disshaped and kind of imploded

I can't recall if they were like this when I first installed them

Is that normal?

Very funny.

Just wanted to make sure it wasn't overheating or anything. All my Temps appear normal though

Yeah they come that way.

I'd like to know why if anyone has that answer. Is it functional or just how it's made?

It has to do with the curing process when they bond the fins to the heat sink. Depending on the method used, the cure can be hot enough to deform the copper.
