Why a 4660

Get a 970 over 290

More than 500watts if you plan to SLI/crossfire and overclock

well im already pretty much at the top of my build budget, and i dont plan on overclocking and usch

mnostly going to use it for casual gaming and stuff so i think the 290 is plenty for me

the i5 was recommended here, do you guys think theres a better option?

What would you recommend? Aneas made this build, said the SSD would be nice for loading games quicker and such

no reason to add stuff you don't need now
instead of getting better performance
cooler and ssd can be added easily later

this is true but you wont have enough space for a large library of games on just the ssd. i suggest installing games onto your hdd instead. with your budget, id rather use the money from the ssd to improve other parts. you can buy an ssd later.

280 better PPP
290 if you want some games on ultra/high and be more future proof
6300 is a better CPU for PPP as well, especially if you're just casual gamng

6300 + 280 is a much better budget and you would notice very little difference unless if running games on ultra~ is something you want

What games you play?
