I was just wondering what was the diffrence between the fx-6300 vs the 8320 and the 8320e.(other then the amount of cores) I heard the 6300 was a better option if you wanted to overclock.

what would you recommend 6 or 8 cores?

edit: i will not be doing anything extreme. Just want to be able to run dual monitor and run movies on 1080p with no lag/issues.

Might as well get the 8320 or 8350 then. More cores, better multitasking.

is there a huge price difference in the two?

What mobo would you suggest.

Id like something that i can build around and not have to upgrade mobo again.

well 6300 usually floats around 90-$110
8320 usually 129-140
8350 160ish?

ideal to get 8320/e with an aftermarket cooler (8320 and 8350 are same CPU, just lower ghz), and overclock it slightly further than 8350 default ghz.
if a lil extra $$ isn't too much of an a issue, get the 8350 with an aftermarket cooler. Reason for getting aftermarket cooler is amd's stock cpu fan sucks/loud.

for mobo if u want better than decent OC

if u don't plan on OCing too much

it;'s overkill, but it;s the best $$$ you can spend on a GPU in terms of performance.
If you have the budget for it, then go for it.
Fill this out if you want best help

Budget:
More specific use (what games, what programs):
Planned time until purchase:
Do you need an Operating System?:
Do you have any specific preferred components?:
Do you need a sound or wireless card?:
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?:
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?:
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs):
