Looking to downgrade my build's size to MITX/MATX, but am having trouble trying to come up with a mobo and case for them.
For case preference in aesthetics - I do prefer minimalist, brushed aluminum, nothing fancy. Mobo needs LGA1150.

However, I need to be able to fit the 970 Windforce which is 12.28" long, and the Corsair H100i cooler.

My intention is to return my current case through Amazon (I have 2 weeks to do so) and replace that immediately, purchase the new mobo, and just passively attempt to sell my old one.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yeah I think it's hard to find a different case, this was the one I was looking for cause it still has plenty of room for the card.

So still space with front rad, I was planning on mounting on top anyways.



I don't really care for brand, Asus/Giga they're all the same to me.

Weighing difference in price between z87 and z97 boards, wanna keep it around $100-$140. Was looking into a few Giga boards, Asus Gryphon boards, etc.

Its a dual chamber so you never see the psu with plenty of top mount/front mounts

Thought about making the switch

Also, msi has one of the better lower priced z97s

I already have a 4790k, and think I'm leaning towards MATX cause I can't go with a super small case anyways.

The cpu is just there for filters. I marked it as purchased already to try to avoid confusion.
