So I'm pretty sure I've finalized my upcoming build, I'm hoping President's Day can hook me up with some sales!

What do we think? Questions / Comments / Concerns are welcome, I like multiple educated opinions :)

This is my 3rd personal build so I'm still learning a lot

I'm going to O/C (ASUS has excellent info on their site for Overclocking with their boards)
Dual SLI not too far down the road which is why the large PSU.
Red / Black color scheme

Corsair fanboy status?¿ Maybe... might even go with Corsair for my keyboard too, we'll see :bouncy:

And yes, I'm aware of the GTX 970 jazz and it doesn't concern me in the least, but I will wait and see what happens in light of the recent findings. Maybe it'll drop in price...

Thanks for looking <3

At that price point, you should be going with Intel.

I'm revolving around my current 8350, I'm sure you noticed. Everything marked purchased on my PCpartpicker list are items I already have, and have owned for a little over a year now, so I'm looking to make some changes with what I've got.

I am selling some parts to a buddy but not the 8350 cause he's goin' the Intel route. But I'm open to suggestions or an Intel build :)

Parts I'm currently using ---> http://pcpartpicker.com/user/sikis/saved/B3KG3C

I'm selling the Memory and GTX 760.

I have some rando Seagate 500GB HDD from like 7 years ago I'm obviously looking to replace ^_^

And I'm just rockin' the stock cooler on my 8350, it's loud but stays fairly cool as I just leave it @ 4.0 w/ an open case.

Looking for a BluRay OD as well, possibly such as... http://pcpartpicker.com/part/lg-optical-drive-wh16ns40

I'll check these out momentarily thank you for your time :)

If you're still inquiring about the BluRay, I just wanna be able to watch BluRays and burn them if I so desire.

Between the 2 builds, you feel Intel is superior, that your point when referring to my price point?

Depends on what you're doing, but you can end the discussion by spending $100 more for an i7-4970k on the Intel build and selling the 8350.

Alternatively, you could go for a blue build....

The way i look at it, and im no expert, but if youre spending under $1000, cant go wrong with either intel or amd, but if youre going over $1000, it should 9/10 be intel

thats how i look at it
