Hi all, I put together a build for myself, and it has been awhile since I picked out parts. I just want to make sure these parts will all work together.

motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128514

video card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127789

psu: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139040

ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231314

processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113286

From what I could see, the parts seem to work together, but an extra set of eyes can't hurt.

Thanks :)

Change the 6300 to an 8320 or 8320e.

Not being sarcastic, but really curious, how much of a difference does the move from the 6-core to 8-core unit make?

Here's a better question: What's the point of buying a high-end motherboard when your CPU isn't high-end either?

For gaming, very little.

What are you putting this together for?

Basic gaming and some programs for school.

AutoCAD, SAP2000, WoW, SC2, and D3.

I didn't think the motherboard was too high end.

You may notice a difference in CAD with the 8 core.

The 8320 suits the UD3 much better if you plan on overclocking it upwards of 5ghz. Otherwise, it's unnecessary.

In any case, get the 8320 or 8320e.

On another note, is there any benefit to buying from Newegg? I'm looking up my parts on Amazon now, and they are either the same price or cheaper. Plus, I get free 2-day shipping with Prime.

If it's cheaper on Newegg/Amazon/other place, then get it from Newegg/Amazon/other place.

You're answering a lot of your own questions.
