Budget:$1000
More specific use (what games, what programs):CS:go, lol, etc, streaming them as well with multiple monitors
Planned time until purchase: 10-12 days
Do you need an Operating System?:no
Do you have any specific preferred components?:good ones
Do you need a sound or wireless card?:maybe a sound if it's a good one for a good price
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: stock won't do
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: no no no
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs):13031

This will be my third built desktop, selling my old one for 550, so I'll budge in the extra. I will be running multiple monitors, gaming on ultra, programming and school work. So let's see if anyone has good ideas before I just wing it!

Prices are low from like end of septemberish, leading into November thru december, so maybe normalized is a better word.
there are still regular deals though. ^^

Ah that makes sense. I just remember somebody saying something, somewhere about it. Normalized is a better way to say it. I've been going through and putting together my own builds, but I don't think I'm getting the best bang for my buck on them.

january is always a slow month so sales just don't happen as much.

You can still do pretty good prices on most things, i'd say the only exception right now is video cards because AMDs promo ended meaning their cards are just competitive priced.
Before they were competitively priced and included those sweet games. R9 290's with 3 free games + Civ beyond earth - [if you sold those things you could get 50-60 bucks, if not simply using the games]

It's hard to get great deals unless youre buying piece by piece and waiting for sales, there just don't happen to be many sweet sales going on right now. ^_^

the reality is most stuff is the same price all of the time. Processors, heat sinks, etc. either way Im gonna post a build up tomorrow ^_^

Remove the SSD if you don't want to be over budget.
