What graphics card do you have? Is there a proper flow of air in your pc case? Have you cleaned it out of dust? Maybe it's time to change the thermal compoun on cpu.
IMO i7-2600 is still a very capable cpu given it's 4C/8T. I wouldn't change it unless you have a very powerful sli/crossfire tandem and have lots of money to waste.
yea i've already cleaned it out, my gpu is a geforce gtx 760, i got that like a year ago
my other question is that my motherboard is a 32nm, am I able to put 22nm cpus in my mobo? I looked up my mother board on here :
http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/cpu-support.aspx and it shows the ones that are compatible, but I'm not sure
