I am looking for a second com strictly for WoW. The wife is now addicted...

Would this run it without trouble? The only fault I see is the 60g SDD... SDD is nice and it only need room for WoW
The gfx could obv be better, but it should work

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
CPU AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.40 GHz Quad Core
RAM 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3
Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 6770 1GB GDDR5
1x HDMI 1xDisplayPort 2xDVI AMD Eyefinity Technology
1080p Monitor 1920x1080
Gigabyte Motherboard
60GB Solid State HD SSD OCZ
600w PSU
7 x USB Ports
22" Dell LED IPS Slim Monitor

It also has a water cooled case

is $290 too much?

OR!
I have this GFX card at home cuz I got it for my current pc but it requires 2 plug ins from the PSU

I also have plenty of extra 2g DDR2 sticks

Could I build a better desktop using this for under the 300 mark?

If you can spend a little more money, this will work better than the OP build with the gpu you have.

are you sure that PSU could hookup to the GPU? I have a 500 at home and it didnt have 3 of the 4 pin connectors required.

I really like the idea of having an SSD over an HDD especially since I wont be putting much on it.

I also have a few extra cases sitting around at home. I dont know if they would work if I bought a new MB though. They are some generic Dell and Hp cases. Anyone know if they are semi universal?

Just check inside the case and see if you can move the standoffs. Usually, the motherboard trays are universal based on the form factor, so if they are ATX or mATX cases, they will fit the motherboard I linked.

One thing to watch out for with the HP and Dell cases is if they will fit the graphics card.

As for the PSU, it does have 2x 6+2 pin PCI-E connectors, so it will work.

Without the case

The G3258 is also overclockable. It'll go to 4.0+ GHz easily, even on stock cooling.
