Hello as title says I need help :( my budget is anywhere from 1k-1.7k

I already have a window 7 64 bit operating system and have a vague idea of the components I need

processor-
motherboard-
memory-
harddrive-
power supply-
video card-
ssd-
tower-

Thanks for reading I hope someone will help me out :D

Budget: 1000-1700 dollars
More specific use (what games, what programs): mostly dota 2 and no programs that should be a problem
Planned time until purchase: 1 month maybe less
Do you need an Operating System?: nope I don't think so
Do you have any specific preferred components?: I like intel more then amd
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: uhh maybe?
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: im not sure what either one of those are
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: nope
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs):

that gfx card is abit high lol though it would be nice to not have to upgrade my card for another 4+ years :D

but the memory is only 8gb

and also what does a cooler mean? is that like a fan?

(the price is actually fine :D I would prefer to go toward the higher amount to insure that it's not going to need to be upgraded for awhile)

Also thank you very much for posting! sorry if some of my questions are dumb I just want to understand the what and how and why :)

You don't even need the second video card. Remove it if you wish.

An i7 isn't going to benefit him at all playing games. Hyperthreading is completely useless unless you're doing some crazy multitasking.

I might have other uses I just don't really know what would take alot on the computer
I guess I watch movies and streams on the computer

and thanks dexa yea I doubt i'd need 2 of those video cards but what is the benefit of having another video card and why only 8 gb of ram instead of 16 or more?

I made some changes based off bubbler suggestion to your build dexa

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/BPXw8d

would this work?

that;s fine since u got high budget and dun seem to care about $$
reason for 8gb is cos its more than plenty for yer uses, and it's overkill and waste of money for 16gb. U'd literally need like 2-9000 monitors and render/edit a billion video clips like a madman to even make 16gb slightly worth it.
plus when ddr4 ram cums out, u'd be like shiet...
mite as well go sexy and get a more expensiv motherboard while at it for dem looks w/ 2400mhz ram and sexy psu like corsair AX860/760
