Fill this out...

Budget:
More specific use (what games, what programs):
Planned time until purchase:
Do you need an Operating System?:
Do you have any specific preferred components?:
Do you plan to ever Crossfire or SLI?:
Do you need a sound or wireless card?:
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?:
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?:
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs):

Additional information that may help us assist you:

What are your preferences in case style? (lights, flashy, dull, etc)
Are you planning to use multiple monitors?
Are you looking for upgrade-ability?
Do you have any preferred brands?
Can you reuse any components from an older build?
Is there anything else you think we should know?

Some things to think about:

Crossfire and SLI, is it something you would ever want to do? Basically it is running more then 1 video card for superior performance, but generally 1 good card is better then 2 ok cards, and your resolution that you game on makes a difference here. Most casual gamers will not ever Crossfire or Sli or ever need to.

Most motherboards today have pretty good built in sound, so a sound card isn't needed, unless you are an audiophile and planning on using a quality speaker set or top tier headphones with it.

Wireless card means if you will not be close to your internet source, where you can just use an ethernet cable, in this case you would need a wireless card and your access point will have to be wireless as well.

Diablo 3 is not a graphically intense game, and does not require a big processor or super high end graphics card, we have a D3 build off thread that is $600 max budget for building a PC w/o Windows that can run D3, so that's something to think about to.

Also an i7 for gaming is not needed, an i5 is the current sweet spot for gaming and price performance.

Lastly, think about your case, you have to stare at it every day, so make sure it's something you like. Most people don't need a Full Tower but a lot like them, a Mid Tower can do what most Full Towers can in a smaller package, but usually a Full Tower can cool slightly better.

Here's 2 builds - both will play D3 - one is top end, and near the max of your budget with Windows - the other is considerably less, but will play it on max too.

Get this GPU + The build below for max end:

Cheaper build that will still max D3:

This is what i would get, just to give you a general idea.

It uses your whole budget, its made of parts i like, and parts that i also use.
