I wish I could build my own gaming pc but I have no knowledge what so ever I found this pc for 1300 at Best Buy and just wondering if it would run d2r and world of Warcraft latest xpan on highest settings 1080p 60 fps. These are specs

2.5GHz, Intel Core i5-14400F processor and 16GB DDR5 U-DIMM RAM combine to make this gaming machine powerful enough to smoothly handle sophisticated games
1TB solid state drive provides more storage space for your games, media, and files
Dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX3050 graphics card and 8GB GDDR6 video memory ensure extremely fluid videos for gaming and movies
Realtek RTL8125BG 10/100/1000/2500 GbE Ethernet port, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) (Dual-band) 2 x 2, and Bluetooth 5.2 wireless card offer multiple options for networking
One 3.5mm combo audio jack, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 type-A ports at the front, one RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port, two HDMI ports, one Display port 1.4, one PS2 port, three audio jacks, four USB 2.0 Type-A ports, and two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports at the rear offer an array of options for connecting external devices
Air cooling system keeps the internal components at optimal temperature, for long lasting efficiency
Preinstalled with Windows 11 Home operating system that offers easy user interface, enhanced performance, and improved security

Really appreciate the help :)

rtx 3050 is too weak of a gpu for 1080p ultra gaming. If you go into any populated zones in wow or large pvp battlegrounds that gpu is going to tank into the 30s fps. bestbuy is charging you too much simply because of that gpu, don't buy that one.

an RTX 4060 is 64% faster than a 3050.

Here is a pc around ~1k. Try looking for something like this.

I would consider other options, the i5 is great but you would do much better with an i7 processor and the 3050 is not the best, I would suggest saving a bit more and try to go for an RTX 3080 instead, I know most people try to get the budget but sometimes its better to get better components so you wont have to replace the components in the long run.

Also, if you are in the US, I would suggest taking a look a Microcenter (Hopefully you have a Store near you) since they are one of the best Shops when it comes to computers, you can pretty much find anything at their store and they can also build the computer for you.

Good to know this info thanks :) sadly I live in Canada so it’s very expensive compared to prices in USA. But I think I will save more and maybe see if there is places like that here in Alberta. I’m tempted also to buy a iPad Pro newest one but I want a pc more I think lol hard decisions. Thank you so much for your help and reply

Im in Canada and just did my wifes update.

I5 12600k/4060 ti

I’m in edmonton, alberta so probably my pricing will be more inline with what you can get.

Memory express has an i5 14600kf/mobo combo for like 575ish I believe, and 4060 ti’s are between 500-650, it’s a worth upgrade over the 500ish 12600k/mobo combo they have.

The psu/ram/storage/case would probably be around another 300 depending on requirements.

I also can not say(and GN just did another review on them) thermalright coolers are simply best bang for buck.

I’d use those prices as a guide and work less/more for your budget.

at 1700, can build a pretty decent pc.

Once I get home and a chance to look things up can send you/post a parts list of varying build levels

Give me day or 2
