Hey guys,

when i try to update my gforce gtx980m i allways got the error "This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware"

i have tried all kind of possible solutions but nothing worked for me (enforced driver signing, setting my Device ID manually in the nvidia installing files (mby i did something wrong i am not shure)

PS one big info: i changed the mobile hardware graphic card from gtx870m to gtx980m
at the moment windows gave me a game ready driver version of 399.24 but i think the hardware driver is from windows emulated in the system manager windows found the gtx980m

all i want is update the fu nvidia software

look up using DDU. boot into safe mode, uninstall all video drivers, reboot into safemode, install new drivers (and if you're having driver recognition issues, i'd use geforce autodetect), and then reboot into normal pc mode

there is one more information you mby need to know - i changed the gtx870m from manufactor Medion to a gtx980m from MSI

and i think thee is the main problem :-(
