Hey people,

I have installed a PSU that i got from a friend.
The PSU is Gigabyte P750, fully modular.after i turned it on i notied my 2 sata hdds are not detected. Tried both on another pc , still not detected. After an inspection it seems like my friend gave me Corsair modular sata cables instead of Gigabyte , which i believe are not compatible. Both of the HDDs are not working now and i am curious if due to the incompatibility i have somehow fried them and if there is something i can do to bring them back alive.

Never mix modular cables with different brand. Its can mess up ur hardware big time. Which is probably what happened here. RIP
There are data recovery services, but ive heard they are pricey. I cant think of any other way to fix them
