So i built a PC at microcenter, because it was my birthday and they probably would do it better than i would have.
Questions regarding first boot, according to agreement they only installed Windows 11 and Updated Drivers. Any suggestions as to what to do for when tomorrow AM i boot it up and pray it works...
Also just got a nice 144z msi monitor 24 inch gaming monitor for like 189.99 plus tax with hdmi cord. I tried to use my old pc with the hdmi cord, and i have to use my old dvi for this old system.
Questions for tomorrow am :
1. I have avast currently, i like the ultimate edition, it works well with me and has a nice vpn built into the service. for me that will be the first think i do after boot up is to get a antirus all in one
2. I like malwarebytes as well and Avast, just free version of malwarebytes, i pay like 70.00 a year for avasts vpn. antivirus etc * its the Ultimate version or product
3. How can i make sure that all of my components are what they say they are, i got all the boxes and told them fuck off with their insurance, as i have built pcs in the past its just been 10 years
4. Anything i should be wary of in terms of trusting their process, what i mean is any added programs, any way to be like okay thats not a driver, i know im paranoid but thats how i think about someone else building my pc lol
5. Windows 11 settings, personally I don't care too much about my files on this current set up , was just gonna take about 40 gigs of data out of 200 gigs installed on this old HDD
6. Apparently the RAM and the front of PC light up with lights, i know I can turn off the front fans, i just wanna see if i can turn em all off (the lights lol im not picky or flashy)
7.. New pc specs : I7 11700k
Asus z590 p prime lga 1200
Evga psu 750gt 80plus gold
Corsair rgb 16x2 ddr4 3600
Asus gtx 3070ti TUF 8gb
LIAN LI lancool mesh II TYPE C TEMPERED glass
Windows 11 oem
Dark rock pro cpu cooler
Samsung evo plus ssd 1TB
Let me know any advice for tomorrow am

The reason why i haven't opened new monitor and new pc, is i waited for like 40 mins for the front of the line time to get my pc i paid 2k for with build fee.
**Also i had to drive 30 miles home in crazy orange county california USA traffic and bumpy roads, so i was white knuckling it in my prius, luckily when i got home and opened new pc box it was nicely in styrofoam and nicely snug. **
