Pretty much everything is brand new besides my SSD with windows 10 installed on it. I cleaned my ssd and deleted old files and unused programs and have almost nothing loading on startup ( IE Discord, Steam,) yet it still takes a good 5 mins to load into the account management part of windows

Could anyone give me some ideas on what to do? Im gonna guess and think ill have to do a new installation of windows?

Get a Better SSD? Samsung Brand is the best.
Yes a fresh installation of windows is best, if your using an old copy of windows and you have all new hardware, thats probably your problem right there.

The SSD itself is 1TB and a Samsung brand and maybe been using it for 6 months

Only other thing i can think of is if you had an AMD CPU.

Yeah make sure to do allll of the windows updates.
I know AMD was having issues until a recent update .

did you do fresh install of windows on new computer?

^ i think he implied that he didnt do a fresh install he just deleted "everything" but expected to plug it in and still have IE, discord, steam etc.

if that is the case, he needs to boot with a usb and fresh install windows

I would back up all important files and do a fresh win 10 with all updates and drivers
