I am looking for 2 laptops, one with best specs possible with a 45W power adapter, and another that's a good bargain with ok specs and same thing 45W power adapter.

Key ISO is needs to be 45W PSU.
150FG to the user who finds the BEST laptop with a 45W power adapter
150FG to the user who find the CHEAPEST laptop with a 45W power adapter and 8gbram+/i5+ or equivalent/ssd/any screen size

I can't seem to find a Canadian website that lets me search via how many watts the laptop draws. There must be a decent laptop out there with a 45W power adapter somewhere in Canada/USA! :)

Thanks for your help.

Do you want a laptop that runs at 45w or lower or do you want one specifically with a power brick rated for 45w? There’s systems that come with 65w power bricks but draw lower than 45w of power, you can also limit tdp on newer systems dropping power consumption. R7 6800u laptops draw very little power and the tdp can be manually lowered.

Ohh perhaps I worded things wrong then. I have no clue how to figure any of those things out haha.

Laptop will be running at the maximum load that it lets me often so I figured if the power brick was maxed at 45W, when the laptop fans are screaming and its running at full speed it wont go past 45W. Would I get more juice getting a 65w laptop and limiting it to 45w? I feel like it's hard to gauge

Essentially yes I am looking to draw the least amount of power possible with the best specs possible. Then I would like to compare the BEST lowest watt laptop to the most cost effective lowest watt laptop and see which route I would like to take to buy laptops for my company

edit:
I will look into R7 6800u laptops

Looked over these, and I think this is the best route for power consumption. R7 6800u laptops are decent machines and even throttled down they would probably still be more efficient than x2 or even x3 cheap 45W laptops. If no one else presents a significantly better option within a day or two than I'll send over some forum cheese as a thank you

I found an Elitebook with one of those CPU's in it, and that's probably giong to be the one. I am currently using a 10+ year old elitebook and it just wont die. Bought it used for $200.00 5 years ago and its a monster. Only problem is 230W power supply since its ancient LOL  Also its gets unbelievably hot I am not sure how it doesn't melt sometimes.
