Sup yall

Looking for a cheapy laptop/easiest portable device for my mom who's bad at tech and has some vision and motor function problems she's recovering from atm

Recommendations? Looking at like $300 max from best buy/Walmart if possible just so I don't have to wait for delivery but if best deal comes from online then lmk

the problems you mentioned, to what extent are they going to effect use do you think? it's a non-technical question to ask you to specify to what degree you expect her problems to effect her ability to type and use the touchpad. certain keyboards might be better, same with the mouse situation. some people swear by a trackball. the laptops in that price range are pretty much the same kind of deal, other than maybe suggesting that you try and find one with separate buttons.. and a better screen (this means at least bigger, everything else depends).

also IMO the "rong" thing is lame. it seems quite easy to look at how pointless and random that was, see the date of the quote in your sig and make a few assumptions to deduce that the comments and jokes of your peers has ingrained this into you for a decade or more, but it's stale.

keyboard is preferred and trackpad should be fine not too good with touchscreens either way
