both have 500w psu gold rated reviews say they upgraded before they powered it on first time some reviews say they had pixelated issues so whats better the 3060 or 3070 for 500w psu the thing is i can only purchase up to 1400

I just want to clarify so I know I got you right HuL: did you say the computers have 500w PSUs? and then you're asking which one needs more power, the less powerful one or the more powerful one? and the ones you're asking us to pick between, it's above the amount you said you can pay right? so you would have to get the 3070 no matter what, correct? do I have anything wrong?

500w can technically work with a 3070, but it's a trash-tier setup, major stress.

also is this replacing a computer you already have or are you adding another?

i think you read his post correctly, imo would definitely need to replace the psu or else get the gpu with least power consumption

i want the 3070 no doubt its over my spending limit 1400 max lease amount unless i get approved for higher. my question is the 3060 is ok with 500w psu without replacing it so i want everything the same as i bought purchase and go the 3070 needs a better psu ao thats not my interests and if i were to get it i would just take out the 3070 and put in another build which will make the computer useless

3070 with 500w psu is a no go in my opinion, especially if u want to overclock
Minimum for 3060 is 550w
Minimum for 3070 is 650w
And then u need to account for ur cpu wattage which is usually 65 to 100w depending.
What part of the world r u from maybe can help find u a better option

Don't buy this computer, the case is absolutely Garbage, and so are the fans that come with it.
You can Read multiple Reviews on it from people buying them for $999.99 at walmart with the rtx 3060, and the rear case fan doesn't work on 17% of the units, and how some of the power supplies and motherboards were DOA.
