Ok - explain to the rest of us so that we can better provide solutions other than "give me a WiFi signal booster".
Tell me why the fuck you cannot create a second SSID using older routers and running CAT5 so that essentially you could possibly run one DHCP and the rest as bridges/AP? This solution would not require a fucking CD but instead you log into the devices and adjust as needed.
Or...maybe use PoE to another outlet, connect a router to that outlet and run that has the second SSID/DHCP and from there create more bridges/AP.
Can you run a fucking CAT5? Can you access the initial router?
What's the distance you're looking to cover?
Does it need to be the same SSID?
Why can't you use the initial mesh router off of the main router and run the mesh satellites to extend your range?
The networking solutions nowadays for Netgear, Cisco, Linksys, Nokia, etc. don't use a CD. They either use USB or RJ45 or something else to get into the device and configure it.
Here's a YouTube search link to better understand how you can use an old router as a boost. Because we don't know the fucking scenario you're in.
https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=old+wifi+router+as+boosterI recall a user the last time someone asked for fucking WiFi signal out in the damn woods and I think I recommended running CAT5 underground in PVC and hang the AP on the tree.
