So, I had a new system built a year ago maybe a little more and it was when the new 3070 was coming out at $500 and my friend who built it said a 4-5 months and the price will really drop.
well they have more than doubled...
so I am looking for a cheaper option.
I found this on ebay for $325 looking for comparable or a reason to spend another $100 or so

oh, I'm a FPS player, CSGO, PubG, etc...

you need to be careful buying GPU's off ebay because a lot of the time they'll use them till they're about to blow up bitcoin mining, it's far safer to just buy a mid-grade new one. Something like an RX6600/1660s/2060s if you could find one in your area.

bear in mind warranty will most likely be void on the ebay card as well

thanks I didn't mean ebay, I meant amazon with a warranty so again looking for a GTZ 1650 or comparable card for around $400

I highly recommend not picking up the 1650, I recommend saving a little more, signing up to inventory alerts and just getting a 3070 (I've seen quite a few come back in stock and last a day or so before being sold out again)

the 1650 will only last you a couple years, if its refurbished we're talking a year but it still will be outdated as more power intensive games come out.

The 3070 will last you years to come, and the FPS difference from the 3070 compared to 1650 is night and way.

The 3070 starts at $500, around $550 with taxes and shipping, ony $100-150 above your budget but it will save you more money in the long run with not needing to replace the 1650.

Don't pay scalper price for the 3070, sign up to bestbuy, newegg and other alerts and check daily, you'll get one at retail price and it'll pay off in the long run!
