So i helped my buddy move the other day he was throwing out a bunch of stuff one of them was a macbook air from 2010 he said i could have it. He said it was messed up and just loaded a folder that flashed im assuming the SSD inside it messed up or something from googling what it was.

I push command + R it brings up online recovery so i connect to my wifi network it starts loading, it goes to a screen to choose your language then loads mac os x utilities.

From the start Command + R loaded me into into internet recovery

Forgot screenshot of time machine but nothing was in their so i tried the reinstall mac os x
https://imgur.com/sx2PjWO ( but gave me this error https://imgur.com/AaVnjm7 ) I checked online and it said to open terminal and change the date to the current one

i tried both 24 hour time and 12 hour

it loads the ssd i verified the disk and did repair disk both were fine.

when i go into disk utility

it shows this

The main hard drive looks like it was wiped but it looks like disk1 is a backup partition or something to reformat it like you would with a windows computer im just not sure how to use it.
I even loaded mac os x lion onto another ssd using transmac on my windows pc the laptop reads it but i cant get it to load the ssd it just keeps going to internet recovery even when i hold the option key.
been googling for hours but figured it was time to ask here because im at a loss

i feel like ive done everything i can but seems like im missing somthing lol

I don't know anything about MACs. The one thing I do know is that on any computer... the time/date in the operating system has to match the time/date in the BIOS.

When booting off the Lion installer, open Terminal, then run this:

Code
date 0720110011

That will set the time/date to one before the OS signatures for Lion expired, and should allow installing the OS

Maybe try a different version, like El Capitan. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211683

Although the date codes for other versions are different.
