Looking for something that can do VR relatively easy. Looking to stay around $1000. I thought maybe with the cyber monday deals I could get something decent.

May be able to get something for VR on the low-end, but don't expect anything near that price new and/or good.

3060’s alone are going for near your budget. Buy a prebuilt, $1700 would be a sweet spot for something with a 3070 or $1400 with 3060.

Yes, however, you do not NEED a 3060 to play VR.

I got this one with RTX 3060 and it's pretty good : MSI GF65 Thin 10UE-294XFR

You don’t say?! New vs new old stock or used system/components. ‘Use for vr’ is pretty broad, a 3060 is a pretty safe middle-ground card for vr, not to mention it’s usually paired with more modern/updated hardware in a prebuilt.
