When I stream d2r (on twitch), everything goes smooth except like act 5 while in town, or when im doing a travi/chaos run where alot is going on. Then frames drop, I get frames drop warnings and its laggy on screen, it is not laggy in my game though, only on the stream. But stuff like andariel, mephisto run or baalrun is fine and smooth.
Do you have any suggestions on what settings could fix this?

I use streamlabs obs to stream.
I'll provide additional info about my laptop if needed, just ask what you need for me to say.

Thanks for any help!

its this one, didnt want to do the dxdiag thing for specs since my laptop is in swedish and stuff wouldnt maybe make sense.

Im thinking there might be some settings to tweak to make it smooth, but i have no idea what to change.

Hi berhemuli!

The specs on this laptop won't be able to get high quality streaming when farming high dense areas such as trav, cows and a5.

I recommend lowering the stream quality until you get to the point where you can not have frame droppage, you might need to lower it quite a bit which will affect the quality of your stream.

The solution here is to upgrade to a P.C and stream off of that rather than a laptop.

Thank you for the answer, yeah a PC would be optimal if I had the economy for it, just upgraded to this one.
By saying lowering stream quality, does that mean that i drop the bitrate? or what, im a bit confused by all the settings what they do. ofc I can google this aswell.
I might just avoid high density areas while i stream then.
anyways thanks for response.

No worries bro,

And yes you can drop the bitrate but first I would try adjusting the resolution of your stream. This has the most affect on your frame rate.

I just want to update you, tested to stream today, changed resolution from 1920x1080 which is my standard to 1600x900, it cut down the lag alot and I could stream the heavy areas too in d2.
