A friend recently purchased a prebuilt Skytech gaming PC from bestbuy and i was curious as what peoples opinions are on it? I'm only asking because I'm considering buying the exact same pc since graphic cards are currently hard to come by. Sorry about the massive image.

Is there a reason you wouldn't? I'm trying to get some input before i make the purchase. I'd prefer to make my own but not being able to find video cards at retail price kinda throws that out the window but I'm open to suggestions.

ive got a skytech prebuilt pc it works great i did have one issue with the rgb in one of the fans but gamdias rma'd me the part without much trouble at all
however that case looks like it might have poor air flow id try to get atleast a mesh front panel also weird that the psu is on the top never seen that before bottom is better for the psu imo for your added fans to exhaust at the top cant add any fans to that one it looks like
i recommend the chronos case thats the one i got

There's nothing wrong with buying a pre-built PC, especially now since the current GPU demand is high.

The only thing I don't like is why it's using AMD 3000 series which is last generation. It would be nice if it was a 5000 series. But still nothing wrong with buying that PC.

I was actually planning on upgrading to a mesh type as it did seem like it would be better for the air flow. I was actually looking at the chronos case but it didn't seem much difference besides the slightly better CPU and it has the mesh front panel.

This is why I'm considering this pc. I priced out the parts + the cost of of the GPU if bought non retail and it'd be about $2200 so seemed like the best deal.

It's a good system. The price is ok too considering the general GPU shortage and premium pricing. Only thing that could be better is the RAM. It's listed as 3000MHz. I'd have gone for 3200 or 3600, but it will run fine non-the-less, especially if you're planning on 1080p or 1440p gaming. There might also be room for future upgrades in that system to a 5000 series chip such as 5900x or 5950x (with a BIOS update?), depending on the included power supply.
