i have a gtx970
the computer is built like 5 year ago but i only use for 1-2 years
is it better to get another matching one and use both
or just get a new single card

Sli isn’t much of a thing anymore, scaling wouldn’t be great in most games.

Agree you should forget all about SLI. Will probably not be supported.

Your current card will be fine to run D2R.
With the drop in crypto prices gfx cards have gone down but you still have to pay about double MSRP right now.
