I could do some searches for what the differences are but from what I recall with that numbering...it's Gen3 vs Gen4 speed. It's similar to how there's the Samsung 970 vs 980.
For gaming, you won't see a considerable difference. Think about it...how fast are you writing data (save files) and reading data (loading files)? It's fast enough. It's like changing the volume from 100 to 99.
If you're video editing like a professional, then yes, you want those faster save/load files. You want to be more efficient in your work when video files are already massive in size. That's like being an audio technician that can tell the difference between 100 and 99 in volume.
