My build is over 6 years old, has burned through 1 psu, 2 ssds, 3 cpu coolers. Moving on, Intel's rocket lake dropped today. It seems the best bang for $ vs performance is the 5600x. Ive got my mind wrapped around 11900k. I am aware that it's preformance isn't better than most the most of AMD's offers. The question should i pull the trigger or not?

Biggest issue of is trying to beat scalpers for a 3080 card as well.

Thoughts?

11900k isn’t even better than the 10900k

10900k is better buy

11600k is nice for the price

3080s are the golden ticket to wonkas factory, gl finding one

AMD>

I would keep using the 3570k til you find a gpu, maybe at that time intel will have a fire sale on their dogshit 11th gen

I'd find a GPU first.

Your current GPU (if you can reuse it into the new build), should determine whether or not you should pull the trigger. You can also buy parts/components when they're on sale and build later on.

As the others have mentioned, try finding a GPU first before doing major upgrades.

Also consider swapping out your PSU. 6 years isn't that long, but it definitely increases the risk of damaging your new hardwares if anything goes wrong.
